Renovation Design was established in 2005, and since then we’ve had the privilege of designing and managing transformations for 200+ clients. Elizabeth’s aesthetic draws from rich influences including, her East Coast upbringing, her Fine Arts education, years working in architecture and development, and extensive travels through Europe, South Africa, India, and the United Kingdom. Each experience has layered depth into her design perspective—and ultimately, into the unique solutions Renovation Design creates for every client.

This instinct has shaped my entire life. Every home I've owned became my next renovation project, and inevitably, visitors would either want to buy it on the spot or ask me to work the same magic on their space. I joke that if I hadn't founded my design firm, my children would have spent their entire childhoods living in construction sites!

Where others see overwhelming chaos, I see extraordinary potential. I genuinely love the energy of construction sites—the buzz of possibility, the creative problem-solving, the daily evolution of a space. The "what ifs" and unexpected challenges that intimidate others? They energize me.

But when people ask about my ‘design style,’ I tell them this: I don't have one signature look. Instead, I discover the best style for a project by getting to know my clients, observing how they live, how they want to feel in their home, and what the existing space calls for. My job isn't to impose my vision on a client’s home. It's to understand theirs, then solve the problems beautifully. I listen carefully to their daily frustrations because understanding these challenges is essential to creating solutions that will truly transform how their home “lives.” This client-centered philosophy has guided my practice since day one.

Watching a design go from a 2D drawing to a space you can interact with never gets old, like that moment you flip the switch and a beautiful new chandelier lights up for the first time! As another partner in the renovation process, I am here to listen, problem-solve, and keep our client’s projects moving toward the home they’ve been dreaming about.

Before joining Renovation Design, I spent years managing corporate interior projects, with an emphasis on customer service. I kept things running smoothly while making sure our clients felt heard and cared for. Clear, honest communication is at the heart of my work. Whether your priority is staying on budget, keeping the project on schedule, or confirming every last design detail, I ensure that clients make decisions they feel confident about. If a budget surprise comes up, you’ll know right away, and be presented with options. If timing is your top priority, I will track procurement closely and suggest alternates to keep things moving without sacrificing style. I also make sure our clients know exactly what to expect by creating a clear schedule for each project. No unexpected loud demo days or surprise water shut-offs! ​
